BounceSafe is the inflatable safety campaign by RPii (register of play inflatable inspectors) and PIPA.

Recent research conducted by RPii shows that 25% of bouncy castle operators are not up to date with their annual inspection and 33% of adults don’t know what to ask when booking a bouncy castle.
The three questions you should be asking when you book a bouncy castle:
1) Has the bouncy castle been tested and does it have a PIPA tag?
2) Does the operator have insurance?
3) Has the operator been trained by RPii?
Here at LJ Hire, we can answer yes to all of those questions! Our drivers set up inflatables only to our standard operating processors which meet British standards. Our driver provides you with an instruction safety sheet and answers any questions you had. And we email out to you a link to our safety video for you to watch 5 days before.
All of our equipment undergo PIPA testing each year. Where the inflatable doesn’t meet PIPA standards we have the inflatable modified so that it pass the test and remain safe. For any new inflatables we ensure there is a manufacturer‘s safety certificate in place which shows the unit meets British safety standards, until it is PIPA tested within 12 months of purchase.
We hold £5million public and product liability insurance. Not only do we hold insurance, but we also understand our insurance requirements. Such as a clause that inflatables must be secured to the ground as per manufacturers instruction and tested annually by a competent person.
And our Director is a member of RPii having completed the inflatable operator’s course. Our standard operating procedures are written in line with RPii training to ensure all staff have the same standard of training and our equipment is set up in line with these standards.
